Lets hope the Gothic4 developers get that one right and give us something that's worthy of our hard earned dollars and gaming time. Start another WoW toon, get Witcher or play Gothic 1 and 2 again. Very big disappointment, very frustrating game, save your money. There could not have been any quality control at all, you can't even complete a main game quest without a patch. There is some new content to the game, looks like someone started to do something interesting, just never completed it. You want for nothing, who said character development? Any length the game has is due to ridiculous quests that appear to exist only to make the game seem longer. You find epic weapons all over the place that would typically be few and far between. You can steal so much you never need to buy anything, you never run out of food, potions, weapons or spells. You can steal everything and nobody challenges you so no need for thieving skills in a RPG. Much of the previous Gothic game controls were not implemented. Ever read a manual for a new piece of equipment and it was obviously translated from some other language by a non native English speaker? That is exactly what the dialog is like. There is absolutely no evidence of that anywhere. The web site talks about new technology to make the game better. This one is all the performance problems plus some, horrible questing, the dialogue makes no sense whatsoever. The Gothic series is the greatest RPG ever, Gothic3 had serious performance problems though.
